About Us

Ottawa Counselling & Mediation
We have been providing counselling, hypnotherapy, and mediation services since 1979. We specialize in individual counselling, couples counselling (marriage counselling), family counselling, hypnotherapy, and family mediation.
Richard Haney, Ph.D.
He has worked in the field of counselling for nearly 40 years and in private practice as a Hypnotherapist, Counsellor, and Comprehensive Family Mediator-Arbitrator for over 20 years. Richard earned his Ph.D. in Counselling Therapy (double major in Counselling and Mediation) in 1991. He earned his M.A. in Counselling from Antioch University at Harvard University in 1981.
Ottawa Counselling & Mediation offers counselling services to clients in Ottawa and the National Capital Region, including Nepean, Kanata, Barrhaven, Gloucester, Orleans, Manotick, Stittsville, Almonte, and Carleton Place.
